Troll Axer
Trollblood Axer
Another Trollblood warbeast done. This time it’s an Axer, well-known for his Rush animus that gives +2 SPD and Pathfinder. Great for extending threat ranges for EBDT, Mulg or even the King. The Axer also has reach and thresher, which is a nice way to clear out some infantry, though at MAT 6 you’ll want to choose your infantry targets with low DEF or increase your chances with Wild Aggression.
This was my first good chance to use the Trollbloods rusty steel look and it came out nicely. Again I carried across eDoomshaper’s tartan pattern to tie the Axer into his force.The hair I went with a similar color to the Mauler and carried it through to his chin and shoulder spots.

The base is against the swampy feel, with some field grass in the back to add some interest. The whelp peeking out of his satchel cracks me up.
So now I’m up to 1 painted warlock, 2 heavies, 1 light and 1 gargantuan. I suppose I should try to actually paint some infantry. Got the stone bearers primed and ready to go.
